Our Season runs from mid August through April 15th, 6 days a week.
We're closed Tuesdays. Sporting Clay's are available by reservation.
Our Speciality is bird hunting. Good, hearty, strong flying pheasants
and large hunting fields are what we're known for.
We also have mallards, and offer one of the finest Continental Shoots, set up just
the way you would like. We offer several excellent Continental Shoots during the year. We
can schedule a private continental shoot - just for you. Our Duck Shoot is one of the finest.
We'll set it up just the way you want it, over water. Just let us know your requirements,
and our staff will do everything they can to make your experience the best.

Our Preserve is your own private hunting area; a place to get away with family
and friends, or alone. There are always birds to shoot so you never go home
empty-handed. Traxler's Hunting Preserve provides great training
for your dog and exercise for you.
Fall Colors - The geography of our land is one of the great things about our preserve.
850 acres of rolling hills, woods, lakes and sloughs, natural grasses and brush,
provide the perfect habitat for your hunt. It's the perfect place to get away
for a few hours, or a day. Your hunt can be long or short,
easy or challenging - the decision is yours.
Our preserve is set back from the main road for peace and quiet while hunting.

Sporting Clays, Trap Range
Clay Shooting
Touch up your shooting skills at our trap range. Shoot our 50 Bird Sporting Clay Course.
We also have excellent areas in which to work your dog, both dry-land and water training.
Please call in advance to reserve your hunting time and area.
Birds will be released just before or at the time of your arrival.
We also stock all hunting areas with birds for your hunting satisfaction.
We will reserve the hunting preserve for a full day, and supply your party with food.
